Hearts fans will be delighted with some recent comments made by the club’s manager Craig Levein.
The Hearts boss has indicated that he is confident that the duo of Steven Naismith and Arnaud Djoum will sign new contracts. He is also confident that Peter Haring will sign a new deal at Tynecastle.
“I’ve got Peter on the go, plus Arnaud and Naisy. I couldn’t say who is the closest, but we’re making progress with all of them” he said, as reported by the Scottish Sun.

If the trio are still at Tynecastle next season, that will be great news for the Hearts support.

All three players have been key men for Craig Levein’s side this season. If they commit to Hearts it shows that things are moving in the right direction for the Edinburgh club.

If Naismith is able to get himself fit, the trio could play a huge role in Hearts’ attempt to win the Scottish Cup.
Naismith has been excellent in attack for Hearts this season, despite two knee injuries. Whilst the duo of Djoum and Haring have been superb in midfield and in defence at times.
Hearts could have a good season next year if they manage to keep these three players at the club. Fans will be delighted that Levein seems confident they will still be at Tynecastle.
