The future of Hibernian striker Florian Kamberi seems to be a bit clearer following Neil Lennon’s departure from Easter Road.
The player and former manager reportedly had a bust-up which left players angry with Lennon. Since then Lennon has since departed, and Paul Heckingbottom has taken over.

Kamberi didn’t let off-field issues affect his game, and he now has 13 goals for the season. With life under Heckingbottom going well for the Easter Road side, they should look to extend this feel good factor by offering Kamberi a new contract.

This might look premature, after all, he still has two years remaining on his current deal. But it would mark a commitment from both parties. It would be a sign from Hibs that Kamberi is going to be a key player for years to come.

From the player it would be a sign that he is committed to the Easter Road side when he could leave. There is no doubt that the player will receive offers in the summer. He has shown enough in his time at Hibs to attract interests of other teams.
The good thing for Hibs is that there is no need to sell the player as he still has time to run on his current contract. But he has done more than enough to have earned a new deal already.
