Hearts fans have been reacting to the semi-final draw for the Scottish Cup, which has paired the Jambos with rivals Hibs in the last four.

Daniel Stendel’s side stunned Rangers for the second time this season, beating Steven Gerrard’s men 1-0 at Tynecastle on Saturday.

The Premiership’s bottom side burst the Gers’ bubble after their midweek Europa League victory over Braga, with Oliver Bozanic scoring the game’s only goal.

Hearts had the lion’s hare of possession, and also managed six shots on target to Rangers’ one.

The home side certainly came alive in the second half, with Rangers unable to cause too many problems. It’s the third time this season that the Jambos have stopped the Gers from winning in Gorgie. It was a big win for Hearts, who will now hope to turn a corner after the result.

They can gain confidence by toppling Hibs in the semi-final, which would set up a crunch clash at Hampden Park against either Celtic or Aberdeen.

Before that though, the two teams face off in the Premiership on Tuesday and a Hearts win could give them a psychological advantage for the cup tie.
