Craig Levein has fired back at those who want him to leave Hearts, and it’s a slap in the face for Hearts fans everywhere.
Declan Gallagher and Sherwin Seedorf had Motherwell two nil up against the Jambos at Tynecastle before Uche Ikpeazu got his side back in the game.

A Jermaine Hylton goal put the game to bed as the Steelmen piled the pressure on Levein.
Fan gathered after the game to demand for their manager’s sacking. His post-match comments haven’t helped him either.
He told the BBC: “The season has just started. We are six points off fourth place. I don’t consider that to be a huge problem for us.

“We talk about results and if results aren’t good then we look to improve. It is a normal conversation.”
Levein doesn’t seem to realise why fans are annoyed
Levein just doesn’t seem to get it. There’s next to nothing to be positive about at Hearts right now.
His comments are just insulting to the fans. For a start, whilst they are only four points off fourth, everyone else is at least three points away from that spot.

His tenure should have ended months ago. During the Well game, the atmosphere inside Tynecastle was toxic. Positivity brimmed from the traveling section, whilst irate Jambos targeted their manager with jeers for many of the 90 minutes.
No league wins in 11, seven since last October, one win at Tynecastle in the league since March. There are plenty of damning stats out there which show how bad Hearts have been over the last year.
He should have gone long ago, so Ann Budge’s decision to stick it out with him is angering supporters. Comments like this show he has little regard for how they are feeling.

These are dark times for Hearts. Levein wants to keep going, but his Tynecastle reign is coming to an end. For the good of everyone involved, he has to walk away before more damage is caused.
