Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes has rubbished reports that captain Graeme Shinnie has agreed a pre-contract with Wigan.
Reports earlier this week claimed that he was set to sign for the Latics.

The Dons boss admitted he was used to his players being linked with moves but insisted there was nothing in the Shinnie story.
“We’re well used to players being linked with clubs during the window but there’s nothing in the Shinnie going to Wigan story,” McInnes said as quoted by The Scotsman.
The Dons captain has impressed at Pittodrie after moving into midfield from his original left-back berth with Inverness.

With his deal up in the summer, McInnes will be keen to try and keep his captain at the club.
The Dons have been working on a new deal but it remains far from certain he’ll stay at Pittodrie.
Shinnie’s predecessor as captain, Ryan Jack also left on a Bosman when his contract ended – joining rivals Rangers.

The 27-year-old has made 27 appearances so far this season for the Dons.
After originally breaking through at Inverness, Shinnie joined the Reds in 2015 and replaced Ryan Jack as captain in early 2017.
With the Dons still in with a shout of challenging for the title, McInnes will hope to avoid any distractions.
Getting Shinnie tied to a new deal would go a long way to helping with that.
