QPR have recalled Dillon Barnes from his loan spell at Hibs as he seeks regular first-team football.
Barnes signed for Hibs on loan in the summer as he provided cover for number one at Easter Road, Ofir Marciano. The QPR loanee has appeared eight times for the Hibees this term.

Most of these displays have come in the League Cup but more recently appearances in the Premiership have arrived for Barnes. Marciano picked up an injury against St Mirren in December as he appeared from the bench.
The goalkeeper has since started matches against Rangers, Ross County and Livingston as the Israeli number one battles his injury. It’s a blow for Jack Ross, with his number one struggling for fitness, leading to goalkeeper coach Craig Samson sitting on the bench in recent games.
Hibs manager Jack Ross says that he understands Barnes’ desire for first-team football: “Dillon goes with our best wishes and I’d like to thank him for his contribution this season.

“He’s been a well-liked member of the group, whose attitude has been first class since the day he arrived at the Hibernian Training Centre. Our goalkeeping coach, Craig Samson, has been equally pleased with his efforts.
“Dillon has performed well when he’s had the opportunity to play – especially in our recent game at Ibrox when Ofir Marciano missed out through injury. However, we understand the desire for regular first-team football.”
