Aberdeen supporters will be delighted with a recent statement made by Shay Logan. The veteran right-back recently signed a one-year extension to his current contract, and he has admitted that he would like to end his career at Pittodrie if possible.
“It was not a difficult decision” he said, as reported by the official Aberdeen website.
“More than happy”

“I was more than happy to sign the extension. I can now go away and enjoy my summer. The stage I am at now, I am happy to finish my career here.”
Aberdeen fans will be delighted that Logan is so committed to the club. There could have been a fear that he followed Graeme Shinnie out of the door. But as he says, he seems determined to end his career at Pittodrie.

Logan is the second player to commit to the club, following in the footsteps of Joe Lewis. Two important players have committed their futures to the Dons. Now they have to go out and bring some new signings on board.
The new signings can be dealt with in the days and weeks to come. For now though, Dons fans will be delighted with Logan’s new deal and his comments.
