Hearts striker Steven Naismith has revealed that he will soon reveal where his future lies. The talismanic striker will be a free agent in the summer as his contract at Norwich will expire.
The player, who has spent the last year on loan at Tynecastle, has been offered a deal by Hearts. He has admitted that he is tempted to stay in Edinburgh, but no decision has yet been made.

“Hopefully I can come to a conclusion sooner rather than later” he told the BBC.
“The opportunity Hearts have given me over the last 18 months has been great for me. When, as a family, I know exactly what I want to do, we’ll move forward rather than let it drag on.”

Naismith has thrived at Hearts under manager Craig Levein. Despite suffering some severe injury problems, he is the Tynecastle side’s top scorer this season with 14 goals.
It makes sense for the player to take his time before deciding on his future. This will probably be the last major contract he signs in his career.

There is no guarantee he will remain at Hearts, or in Scotland. Hearts boss Craig Levein recently disclosed that the player was milling over an offer to play in America.
Should Naismith decide to move to America, he will receive a fond farewell from Hearts fans. There’s no doubt they’d rather he stayed at the club though. At least we shall find out his decision sooner rather than later.
