It has been another intriguing day at the top of the Scottish Championship.
For the first time in a while, the three teams battling it out at the top of the table all won.
Although as usual in the Championship, things were far from simple.
Ross County stayed a point clear of Ayr United at the top of the league after a 2-1 win at Dunfermline.

It took all of County’s battling qualities to stay at the top of the league though.
After being a goal down at half-time, second-half strikes from Billy McKay and Michael Gardyne secured the three points.
Ayr also had a tough match, before eventually winning 3-1 at Alloa.

Veteran striker Michael Moffatt hit a double, before Lawrence Shankland inevitably scored, this time from the penalty spot.
Dundee United are still in third place following a 2-1 win over Morton which saw January arrival Peter Pawlett scoring on his debut for United.

Next weekend none of the three sides are in league duty because of Scottish Cup action.
But in a fortnight’s time Ayr at home to Dunfermline, Dundee United travel to Queen of the South and leaders Ross County are at home to Falkirk.
At the moment Ross County would have to be slight favourites to be promoted but no doubt there will be plenty of twists and turns to come.
