It is not often that St Johnstone have one of the best players in Scotland.
But there is a case to be made for the Perth side’s goalkeeper, Zander Clark.
Clark was in superb form in the recent game against Celtic.
He pulled off a series of saves, but was in the end unable to prevent Celtic from winning 2-0 with two late goals.
That shouldn’t take away from Clark’s performance though.
To any seasoned St Johnstone watchers, Clark’s performance should come as no surprise.
He is arguably the best goalkeeper in the Scottish Premiership.
The statistics support how good a season Clark has had.
He has 11 clean sheets so far this season, and has conceded 1.21 goals per game.
Clark’s performances have helped St Johnstone get back into the top six of the Scottish Premiership, after missing out last season.
Lewis will need to have another exceptional game if the Saints are to have any chance of knocking out Celtic when the teams meet once more in the Scottish Cup on Sunday.
With Clark’s form this season, there has to be a risk that sooner or later a team will attempt to sign the player.
The only good thing for St Johnstone in that situation would be the fee they would get.
That is story for another day, for now Saints fans should enjoy watching perhaps the best goalkeeper in Scotland.
