Kilmarnock have been dealt massive blows so far this transfer window, a shocking way to mark the club’s 150th anniversary.
First was losing Jordan Jones to Rangers on a pre-contract. This comes despite previously rejecting bids from the Gers for the winger. Killie were dealt another big blow following Birmingham’s decision to recall Greg Stewart from his loan spell in Ayrshire.

According to the Scotsman, one fan is so keen on the thought of Stewart signing for his club permanently that he’s set up a fundraising page. He’s asking fellow fans to assist Killie in order to sign one of their star performers this season.
Stewart is back at St Andrews early, initially signing a season-long loan as part of this Steve Clarke revolution. With Killie third in the table, the former Cowdenbeath and Dundee man has been a vital part of their rise, scoring eight goals in 16 games.

With the Blues in the hunt for a Championship playoff place, it’s still unclear whether he’s a part of Garry Monk’s plans or whether Birmingham will look to sell him on to raise some funds for Monk to manoeuvre in the window.
Having spent last season on loan at Aberdeen and struggled for game time, Stewart seems to have found a home at Rugby Park. Killie will no doubt want to sign him on a permanent deal. Here’s hoping for their sake that they can. Several others will hopefully add to that diehard’s spare change in order to tie him down.
