The Killie man has moved on loan to East End Park for the rest of the season. Killie teammate Kiltie was enjoying his spell with the Fifers before the Rugby Park club decided to recall him.
Thomas signed a new two-year deal in the summer with the Ayrshire club but they’ve opted to get him regular minutes at Dunfermline. So far, he’s played three times in the Championship, notching three assists.
He’s looking forward to more second tier action as the winger aims to be even better than Kiltie: “I’m looking forward to the rest of the season. The team helps that, it’s a great dressing room.
“Hopefully we can go up the table and into the play-offs. It’s a very tight league. Kiltie’s a great player, I obviously never seen much of him when he was here. But at Kilmarnock he had a great attitude and when given his chance, I thought he did well.
“Hopefully he can get his chance now. I’ve seen him in training, he’s great. I’ll come here and I will try and do my own job. I think I’m a different player from Kiltie and as far I’m aware he did quite well.
“Perhaps I can go on to do even better. Obviously Kiltie’s done well, went back, and now is getting his chance. I hope he keeps getting it and takes it.”
