Hibernian star Alex Gogic thinks that it would be a great achievement if the Easter Road can qualify for Europe this season. At the moment, the Easter Road side is currently in fourth place in the Premiership table, just behind Aberdeen.
The club last played in European competition in 2018. The 26-year-old believes that come the end of the season, Jack Ross’ side will have confirmed that it is returning to European football.
“Every player wants to play”
“I think every player wants to play at some point in Europe with their team. I think to achieve that would be amazing. As I said when I signed for Hibs, I think such a team should always play in European games. It would be amazing” he said.

“We are playing very good football, maybe sometimes the result doesn’t go our way. But I think we are ready for sure” the player said, in regards to Hibs qualifying for Europe.
The player is now set for a very busy schedule as Hibernian are in action four times over the festive period. Those run of fixtures begin tonight against St Mirren.
Returned after knee injury
Gogic recently made his return to action from a knee injury, just in time for such an important part of the season. He is a player that looks forward to such a busy period of football.

“It can be hard physically, but as a player you just want to play football. That’s the best part of it, playing as many games as you can is the best part of it.”
With 12 points up for grabs, Hibernian will have a real chance of qualifying as Gogic hopes can happen if they can achieve some good results over the festive period.
