Hibernian manager Jack Ross has been busy in the current transfer window. In the last 10 days he has made three signings.
Matt Macey, Jackson Irvine and Chris Cadden have all arrived at Easter Road. If that was the end of the January signings, that few Hibernian fans would have much to complain about.
However, the fans could yet see more players signing on the dotted line before the window closes at the end of the month.
Players could still arrive and leave in window
Ross has admitted that there could be more signings made before the transfer window closes. However, he has also disclosed that it is likely players will be departing the club as well in the current window.
“Potentially. It might be a little bit dependent on movement the other way as well. I can’t say for certain, but I anticipate there would be some shuffling of the squad now between now and the end of the month.
“Pleased with what we have done so far, Jackson and Chris coming in I feel has strengthened us, but we may do a litter bit more” he said.
Pleased that attacker is on his way back
Ross is pleased with the competition that his new signings will bring to the squad, and is also pleased that Scott Allan should be back in first-team action soon.
Allan has not featured for the first-team since August, but that could change soon.
“Our recruitment has been good recently. The return of Scott is almost like signing a fresh player in January because of how long he’s been out for. So his return sooner, rather than later hopefully, should suit us as well.”
