Lee Miller says his January transfer budget may have been given a boost by former Falkirk man Tony Gallacher’s Liverpool appearance this week.

Ex-Falkirk star Gallacher made his first-team debut for the Anfield side as they fielded the youngest XI in their history against Aston Villa. The starting XI was so young in Carabao Cup action due to the club’s commitments in Qatar at the Club World Cup.

Four years ago, Gallacher made his Bairns debut before a big move south. He joined the Melwood Academy in 2018 for £200k and has caught the eye in the U23s side. It’s been enough to earn him a senior appearance under the circumstances.

His start though will land Falkirk at least another £100k, a big boost for the League One side. Miller says that he’s been made aware of the situation and that it could add to his transfer pot next month.

RONALDO NEEDS TO STOP WHINING.

“It potentially could come our way in January. It’s something we need to speak to the board about,” Miller said. “We’ll need to see where we are with the whole money situation.

A chat is needed. (Ben Banks)

“Players coming in and coming out, that’ll come to the front of everything in the next couple of weeks.”
