Lee Miller opted to start himself for Falkirk in their most recent league outing – and it’s a game which he knew he was finding the net in.
Miller got on the scoresheet for the first time since his return to the club as co-boss as the Bairns strolled past Peterhead 3-0. Declan McManus got a double to secure a comfortable victory, keeping them one point off League One leaders Raith.

It was a nice moment for Miller to score his 52nd Falkirk goal some 19 years after his first. The three points are just as important though in this tight League One title race.
“I thought we were dominant throughout the game,” said Miller. “We played some really good stuff but I think Robbie Mutch had one save to make, a great one at that.
“A clean sheet gives you the platform. We’ve got goals in our teams and If you start off with a clean sheet you never know what can happen. I’m delighted to get three points.
“It was great to be back out there. I’ve been feeling good the past couple of weeks and we changed it up a wee bit. I thought we (Declan McManus) worked really well together. It was a first class performance.
“I knew I was scoring today. I should have scored two but it was a real professional performance.”
