Motherwell midfielder Allan Campbell has suggested tempo, aggression and work-rate will be key for the club if they are to secure third position this season.
The Well beat Ross County 4-1 at Fir Park in the Premiership on Wednesday to put an end to their poor form of late.
Stephen Robinson’s men were without victory in front of their own supporters since December, but an emphatic performance saw them pull ahead of the likes of Aberdeen, Livingston and Hibs.

On the scoresheet twice for his fifth and sixth goals of the season was Campbell – his first, a nice controlled finish into the top corner after the ball had ricocheted off the crossbar, and his second, a simple tap-in.
It was a strong overall performance by the Scotland U21 international, who was tenacious and energetic in the engine room, as well as clinical with his finishing.
Speaking after the game, the 21-year-old said: “It is, first time [scoring a brace]. It’s a bit strange. To chip in with two is brilliant.
“I just need to keep making runs forward and trying to get on the end of things to try and get that tally up.

“The boys we’ve got in there have got great character and great talent. I think if we perform like that, more often than not I’m sure we’ll push and stay up there [in third].
“We just need to take each game as it comes. Step by step, we’ll focus on Saturday now, we’ll recover well and make sure we put in that same performance level, the same work-rate, same tempo and aggression to get a result again.”
