It’s the return of the New Firm derby this evening as unbeaten Aberdeen host Dundee United in what is a tasty Premiership fixture.
The Dons under new boss Jimmy Thelin have been absolutely imperious having won every single game this season bar last weekend’s draw against Celtic.
Their comeback at Celtic Park was a refreshing sight for the Scottish game, particularly when some pundits thought Celtic would turn Aberdeen over despite their superb winning run.
But they earned an excellent point to remain joint-top of the Premiership and can leapfrog the champions at the summit tonight with victory over Dundee United at Pittodrie.
The Arabs have also enjoyed a good start to the campaign after promotion from the Championship. Jim Goodwin’s men sit fourth in the league just a point behind Rangers and a win today would seriously shake up the top end of the division.
