Hearts can qualify for the Europa Conference League knockout play-off round tonight with a win over Cercle Brugge.
The Jambos are 12th in the league phase table with six points having won their first two games against Dinamo Minsk and Omonoia.
Heidenheim last time out was a step up in quality but Hearts can fancy their chances against Cercle who are currently third bottom of the Belgian Pro League.
They are two points further behind Hearts in the Conference League and a win for them would revitalise their hopes of getting out of the league phase.
Cercle only just scraped past Kilmarnock earlier in the season so Hearts, despite their own domestic difficulties at the moment, have a chance in Belgium tonight to get a result.
