St Mirren are looking to cling onto their top six status tonight against the side trying to grab it from them – Hearts.
The Jambos’ improved form since Neil Critchley came in means they are now looking up rather than down and will be targeting European spots.
First they need to break into that top half and Hearts’ latest win over St Johnstone lifted them up to just one point behind the sixth-placed Buddies, who they host tonight.
Critchley hailed the performances of double hero Elton Kabangu and goalkeeper Craig Gordon post-match.
And he followed that up by praising Bani Baningime, too.
The teams are now in for tonight’s Tynecastle clash.
