Dundee manager Jim McIntyre was unhappy with the performances of the match officials after his side slumped to a 4-2 defeat against Hibernian.
He felt that Hibernian’s Marc McNulty – who scored twice – should have been sent-off for an off the ball incident with Ryan McGowan. He was also angry McGowan wasn’t awarded an early penalty after an alleged foul by Mark Milligan.

“I do think we should have had a stonewall penalty when Ryan McGowan was dragged to the deck, and there could have been a red card for McNulty when he flicks out with his boot” McIntyre told The Courier.
“The TV pictures are pretty conclusive.”

It really wasn’t Dundee’s night, as substitute Kenny Miller had two goals chopped off. The Dens Park side had been in a decent run of form before the defeat. But the loss keeps McIntyre’s side firmly in the battle to stay up.
Their lead over St Mirren has been reduced to four points. The Saints picked up a point against Hearts in a 1-1 draw.

Whilst Hamilton can overtake Dundee if they pick up at least a point against Rangers on Sunday.
Dundee has another reason to rue the official’s decisions. Their next match is a trip to Ibrox on Wednesday, where they will be rank outsiders to get any result.
Still, they have played well in recent weeks. So they might as well have a go at Ibrox, they have nothing to lose.
