The Scottish Premiership wasn’t short of storylines over the weekend on another action-packed card of top-tier action.

From Ross County’s Celtic loanee, St Johnstone’s in-form hitman and Killie’s resilient battlers, there was plenty of standout performers on matchday 11.

Here’s who makes our Team of the Week from another weekend of Premiership football.

Ross Doohan

Stuart Kettlewell handed Celtic loanee Ross Doohan a debut between the sticks on Saturday as Ross County drew with Hibs 0-0. He made countless saves and undoubtedly made a good claim to become the Dingwall number one.

An honorable mention must be given to Benjamin Siegrist, who turned in an equally-brilliant performance for Dundee United against Aberdeen as they also drew 0-0.

Clevid Dikamona

A first Kilmarnock player in this TOTW, Dikamona slotted into the Killie defence as a starter for the first time. Alex Dyer’s men were solid in defence, a two-week stint in isolation not affecting Dikamona as he turned in a dominant display.

Ryan Edwards

Dundee United did well in defence too on Saturday and Edwards was a big part of that. He headed just about everything that came his way, doing a decent job of clearing Aberdeen danger.

Alex Iacovitti

Ross County’s second addition to the team, the former Scotland U21 international has been a great signing for Kettlewell. He shone again as the Staggies kept another clean sheet.

Paul McGinn

Usually a centre-back for Jack Ross, McGinn goes in at right-wing-back in our side. Hibs didn’t hit top gear on Saturday but McGinn remained solid as he continued his impressive season that’s had him called up to the Scotland team.

Alan Power

Kilmarnock had to dig deep for their win on Saturday and Power personified that. Despite understandably tiring towards the end, the Irishman ran himself into the ground so Dyer’s side could claim three points.

David Wotherspoon

St Johnstone’s reliable playmaker was key for Callum Davidson as they hit Hamilton for five. He scored one himself and created several chances as the Perthshire Saints enjoyed a return to Premiership form.

Ronan Hughes

The Hamilton midfielder was a substitute during the weekend’s 5-3 defeat to St Johnstone but Accies’ academy midfielder still made an impact. He scored twice after replacing David Templeton in the first half.

Craig Conway

Conway was another one of St Johnstone’s attacking delights on Saturday. He scored a second half double as St Johnstone rubber-stamped their Hamilton success.

Stevie May

Speaking of impressive Saints attackers, May is another. He banged in a hat-trick against Brechin City a week past on Saturday before starting his day against Hamilton with a goal inside 60 seconds.

Scott Pittman

He’s a midfielder but we’re squeezing him in up top in our TOTW. Whilst Livi endured a disappointing Saturday afternoon, Pittman was his usual self. Tenacious in midfield and adding a goal to his name, it was an impressive display from the Lions star.
