Raith Rovers travel to Celtic Park in the penultimate game of the Scottish Cup Fifth Round and both sides have confirmed their starting XI’s ahead of kick-off.

John McGlynn’s Rovers have been embroiled in plenty of controversy off the pitch recently but will be hoping they can put that to one side when they take on the Glasgow side tonight.

Raith haven’t exactly been in the best of form recently after a good start to the campaign, losing ground in their promotion push,

This is the second time the two sides have met at Celtic Park this season, Celtic coming out on top in the League Cup earlier in the campaign.

McGlynn was in bullish mood earlier this week, as he looked to cause a shock in Glasgow, taking inspiration from Boreham Wood’s win over Bournemouth in the FA Cup.

”Celtic are the in-form team in the Premiership just now,” the Raith boss said.

“Just a week ago they beat Rangers and then they went out and were very convincing winners against Motherwell.

“I don’t think any neutral or Celtic fan is going to give us a hope, but we’ve got to take inspiration from the likes of Boreham Wood.

“They went and beat Bournemouth in the FA Cup last weekend, though it’s not quite the same as going to Celtic Park and winning.

“It’s quite a tall order. Celtic have got a very strong squad, they brought in new players during the January window.

“We’ve a difficult game in prospect, but it’s a Scottish Cup tie with 11 v 11.

“If they have a bad day and we have a good day, you just never know.”
