St Johnstone fans finally get their day at Hampden this afternoon as they watch their side take on Celtic in the first of two semi-finals this afternoon – and the starting XIs have been confirmed ahead of kickoff.

The Saints are the holders of both domestic trophies after last season’s historic double-winning campaign but the Perth side’s fans had to watch from home due to Covid restrictions.

Callum Davidson’s side are now in another semi-final though and this time the national stadium will be packed as the Saints look to continue their incredible progress in the cups under Davidson.

While Glenn Middleton and Stevie May are both missing out through injury for St Johnstone, Davidson still have plenty of options to choose from as he looks to make Ange Postecolgou’s first visit to the national stadium as Celtic manager one that he won’t want to remember.

Chris Kane returns to the side with the striker’s suspension only taking effect in the Scottish Premiership and freeing him up to play this afternoon.

With a fantastic recent record at Hampden, St Johnstone will be hoping to make it five wins from their last five trips to the national stadium when the games gets started  a 5.15pm.
