After Hearts and Celtic both missed the chance to go top of the Scottish Premiership yesterday, leaders Rangers travel to Motherwell this afternoon – and both sides have confirmed their starting XI for the Fir Park clash.

Motherwell will be hoping to go one better than in midweek, drawing 2-2 with St Mirren on Wednesday, while Rangers will also be looking to bounce back after a 2-2 draw with Aberdeen at Ibrox on Wednesday.

Steelmen boss Graham Alexander has brought Bevis Mugabi, Mark O’Hara and Jordan Roberts into the starting XI with Juhani Ojala, Liam Grimshaw and Kaiyne Woolery dropping out.

Rangers have made four changes from the 2-2 draw with Aberdeen at Ibrox, Allan McGregor, Scott Arfield, Steven Davis and Fashion Jr come into the side in place of Jon McLaughlin, John Lundstram, Kemar Roofe and Ianis Hagi.

Heavy rain over the last few days saw parts of Fir Park flooded earlier this week and, while the rain continues to fall, there isn’t any threat to the game taking place today.

WAYNE ROONEY TO EVERTON IS A JOKE.

A win for Motherwell this afternoon would see them jump ahead of Hibs and Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership and into fifth place in the table.
