Hibs travel to Ibrox looking to take a massive three points from Rangers as the Hibees look to secure European football next season – and both sides have confirmed their starting XIs ahead of the Premiership clash.

Shaun Maloney’s side are struggling for form recently but know heading back across the M8 with three points would be a huge boost for them.

However, with Hibs having failed to score in four of their previous five games the Cabbage can’t afford another blank in front of goal tonight.

Easter Road boss Shaun Maloney has backed striker Kevin Nisbet to end his recent goal drought, defending the Scotland striker’s performances despite his lack of goals.

“Since I have been here I actually think Kevin’s performances have been really good,” Maloney said.

“As a nine outwardly you can be judged on the amount of goals you score.

“But as his manager, I’ve been really happy with his performances, his work rate – there has definitely been a change in the relationship between Kevin and the support.

“I really feel there is respect now, and a real sort of connection between the two.

“So I don’t feel I have to pick Kevin’s confidence up.

“I know there’s going to be a moment when these chances are taken.”
