Motherwell manager Graham Alexander has named his starting XI for this afternoon’s clash with champions Rangers as the Gers celebrate last season’s league triumph in front of supporters.

The Steelmen could go top of the Premiership with a win over Steven Gerrard’s side and the Fir Park boss has named an attacking side as he looks to inflict defeat on Rangers and continue Motherwell’s impressive start to the season.
Striker Kevin van Veen is hoping he can make a massive impact and silence Ibrox, with the ‘Budget Bergkamp’ saying earlier this week that he was looking to the ‘challenge’ of taking on Rangers.
“I feel like I’ve got a lot of ability, I feel I can show a lot, I feel like I can be the difference. I want to be the difference, and I want to be different from any other player.

“That’s what I’m going for. I do feel like I’m really looking forward to these types of games, I really feel like it brings the best out of me. This Sunday is going to be a completely new test but hopefully, as a team and myself we can put in a really good performance, challenge Rangers, and hopefully we can win.”
Motherwell currently sit fourth in the Premiership table, two points off Rangers, Hibs and Hearts who are all level on 12 points after the opening five games of the season.
