The starting XI’s are out at McDiarmid Park as St Johnstone get set to host Celtic in a Valentine’s Day clash.
Callum Booth, Craig Conway and Craig Bryson are brought into the Saints XI in three changes from their 2-0 victory over Livingston last weekend while Celtic bring in Shane Duffy for Stephen Welsh, who was injured midweek against St Mirren. Ryan Christie also returns to the side.

Callum Davidson’s side are in great form heading into this fixture. They ended Livingston’s unbeaten run in West Lothian last week and are currently on a run of one defeat in nine. Now their latest test is Celtic.
Davidson’s team will be full of confidence going into the match with a Celtic side who’s season has been much-maligned this term. In recent matches though, they have looked better, sweeping past top six St Mirren 4-0 midweek.
St Johnstone will provide a tricky test for the Hoops though as the fixtures between these two have been tight this term. Celtic won 2-0 in the last McDiarmid Park fixture via two late goals while the pair drew 1-1 at Parkhead in their last meeting.

Here’s how both sides take to the field in Perth. A win could move St Johnstone one point outside the top six, moving them from eighth to seventh after results elsewhere over the weekend. A win for Celtic could leave Hibs with an uphill climb for second, three Hoops points leaving the Hibees 12 points behind that position.
St Johnstone starting XI
