Hearts managed to earn a point at Tynecastle as they drew 1-1 with Rangers.
The Jambos were 1-0 up within the opening six minutes after Ryotaro Meshino lobbed Alan McGregor and Conor Goldson following a Jake Mulraney effort.

Alfredo Morelos managed to bring Rangers back level. The Jambos limited Rangers in the second half as they secured a point which lifts them to tenth on goal difference, one place above rivals Hibs.
Some Hearts fans have reacted to the result with Rangers.
Play like that all the time. Not just for the big occasions

A good result?
The performance was there for all to see. Hearts pressed Rangers all over the park and never gave them room to breathe.

They managed to get the fans on their side, at least for 90 minutes, which seemed to spur them on. Their efforts have been rewarded with a point in a game they were widely expected to take zero from.
It was another game without a win at Tynecastle though. Even the most optimistic Jambos fan wouldn’t have been confident of a win prior to the game, but they really could be doing with one.
They’ve won just once in nine games and haven’t won at Tynecastle since March. That being said, a point against Rangers can only be considered a good point.

A good point for Levein. (Photo by Ian MacNicol/Getty Images)
Craig Levein will be pleased with his side’s effort against the Ibrox side.
