Jack Ross was handed his second defeat as Hibs manager away to Celtic as the Hoops prevailed 2-0.
Two goals on either side of half time condemned the Hibees to a second defeat under their new boss in challenging circumstances. Jeremie Frimpong and Odsonne Edouard sealed the home win.

Ultimately Hibs couldn’t compete with the quality Neil Lennon’s side have at their disposal. Ross’ Hibs stay in sixth following this result as Ross County creep up behind them, now sitting just a point behind in seventh.
It doesn’t get any easier either for them. Next up for Hibs is Rangers at Easter Road on Friday night, which will pose yet another big challenge for Ross and his players.
RONALDO NEEDS TO STOP WHINING.
They were never expected to take anything from this game, so for Hibs to at least stay in this game up until the second goal was a positive. Not troubling Fraser Forster though with many clear chances could be a frustration but overall it wasn’t a terrible day.

Some Hibs fans have reacted to their defeat at Parkhead.
Why would people ‘take that’ before the game?
It’s Celtic, not Real Madrid. Too many Hibs fans are happy to accept things when it’s Celtic.
