Hibs 4-1 Dunfermline

Jack Ross’ side prepared for their UEFA Europa Conference League campaign with a convincing win over Dunfermline. New Hibs signing Daniel Mackay netted as fellow summer arrival Jake Doyle-Hayes made his non-competitive debut at Hibs’ training centre.

Brechin City 1 -4 Dundee United

United have been playing plenty of friendlies over the last week and their latest involving senior players had striker Clark score a hat-trick. Iain Davidson scored a consolation for Brechin, who have been relegated to the Highland League. Former Dundee United manager Ray McKinnon is now in charge.

Hearts 4-0 Falkirk

The Tynecastle side stormed to victory at their training camp in Largs. Falkirk played well in spells during the match but eventually the cinch League One club were overpowered by Premiership opposition.

Elgin City 0-5 Ross County

Malky Mackay’s first game as County manager ended in convincing fashion, the Dingwall club fielding a strong XI against Elgin. New signing Ross Callachan scored twice and Jordan White, Dominic Samuel and Matthew Wright also found the net.

Hamilton 0-5 Dundee

Dundee recorded an impressive away win over Hamilton as they prepare for life in the Premiership. Luke McCowan notched a brace while Lee Ashcroft, Declan McDaid and Alex Jakubiak also found a net on a disappointing outing for Brian Rice’s Championship team.

Livingston 3-0 East Stirlingshire

Three first-half goals were enough for David Martindale’s side against Lowland League opposition. Bruce Anderson and Ayo Obileye netted, as did Josh Mullin.
