Scottish Premiership clubs are continually looking at innovative ways to recruit players.
Hearts have a partnership with Jamestown Analytics that sees the Tynecastle club use the data firm’s analytics algorithm to identify suitable players to bring to the club.
Hibs have gone a slightly different route and linked up with other clubs within a multi-club structure – namely Bournemouth and Lorient as part of Bill Foley’s Black Knights group.
Hibees chief Tim Bezbatchenko recently explained how that works in terms of bringing players to the club and how they can be persuaded.
Manager David Gray also previously told how the process works between him, new head of recruitment Garvan Stewart, sporting director Malky Mackay and the rest of the recruitment team.
Hibs and Aberdeen are now both about to be involved in another way of looking at recruitment.

Aberdeen and Hibs to attend transfers summit
Both Premiership clubs will be present at an upcoming TransferRoom summit in Berlin along with clubs around Europe, including some elite ones.
The Edinburgh Evening News has reported Hibees chiefs will be there and will be joined by counterparts from Pittodrie.
They add that 800 clubs from 125 leagues across 70 countries, and over 550 trusted agencies use the online platform which serves as a networking space for clubs to discuss what players they need and what ones might be available.
The summit allows them to do this in person, allowing them to “unlock huge opportunities ahead of the summer transfer window.”
They can then continue to communicate through the platform’s messaging system,
What have TransferRoom said about their event?
Jonas Ankersen, TransferRoom Founder and CEO, said: “The TransferRoom Summit in Berlin is the perfect opportunity for clubs and agents to get down to business and lay the ground for a successful summer transfer window. They’ll engage in a series of direct one-on-one negotiations and expand their network with exclusive networking opportunities at a pivotal time, so they can get ahead of the competition and get deals done fast.
“Some may travel 10,000 km to attend our summits, yet within just two days of networking, they will engage in countless face-to-face meetings and connect with hundreds of clubs—an experience that would normally require weeks of global travel.”
