Aberdeen have confirmed a five-year extension to their kit deal with German sportswear giants Adidas as they revealed a “double-digit percentage” increase in sales of replica kits from 2020.
The Dons will wear the famous three stripes until the end of the 2025/26 season, at least, taking their partnership over the 15-year mark, with the Pittodrie side hailing the extension which covers the men’s and women’s sides as well as the club’s Academy.

Robert Wicks, Commercial Director for the Dons was delighted to announce the deal earlier today, hailing it as one of Aberdeen’s “most successful partnerships” as he praised Adidas’ work in coping with the Covid-19 pandemic.
“We are thrilled to be extending our kit sponsorship with Adidas, undoubtedly one of the world’s pre-eminent sports brands,” Wicks told Aberdeen’s official website.
“This has been one of the Club’s most successful partnerships. The quality of the kit provided across all areas from the first team through to our retail operation is exceptional.
“The global pandemic brought with it a series of challenges, particularly around international supply chains and logistics, but the team at Adidas have worked tirelessly to deliver some outstanding kits for the new season and, from what we have seen to date, their ideas for the next few seasons are even more exciting.”
