Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes has provided updates on the fitness of three players ahead of the club’s game with Motherwell.
The Dons are in action at Fir Park tonight, and a win can see them go above The Well in the Premiership table.
Last weekend Aberdeen were able to close the gap on Stephen Robinson’s men, beating Hibs 3-1 and Motherwell only managing a 1-1 draw with Hearts.

A solitary point now separates the sides in the table, making tonight’s affair a pretty big deal, although McInnes has rejected the idea the result will be defining.
Aberdeen ran out 3-0 winners on their last visit to Fir Park, and will be hoping to produce a similar level of performance this time around.
Speaking ahead of the game, McInnes delivered a triple boost for fans.
He said (official website): “Scott Wright was back in full training yesterday which is brilliant for him. Greg Leigh will be back with us towards the end of next week. We are starting to get good options to choose from through the midfield and a decent level of performance is coming from the majority of the players at the moment.

“Everybody is fit from last week’s game.
“Sam Cosgrove is back training and is added to the squad.
“It just reiterates that we have got good numbers coming back into the squad on the back of a very good performance and victory against Hibs.”
Top scorer Cosgrove has missed the last couple of games with a back injury. Whether he is able to start against Motherwell remains to be seen, but his return is undoubtedly a major boost for the club.
Aberdeen well placed to finish strongly

Cosgrove especially is a big boost, although Curtis Main has performed very respectably in his absence.
If the Dons can get three points away to Motherwell again, it could be the catalyst for some good form beyond the split to help the club seal that third position.
