After a week or so of speculation, Aberdeen have finally sold Bojan Miovski to Spanish side Girona for a club record transfer fee.

The North Macedonian forward became a hit at the Pittodrie club having netted 44 goals in all competitions over the last two seasons.

He joined on a bargain £600k deal from MTK – as per Sky Sports – and proved to be one of the deadliest strikers in the Scottish Premiership.

Miovski has been linked with a whole host of clubs since January, with the likes of Espanyol and Genoa showing an interest across the summer.

But the 25-year-old had his heart set on moving to La Liga with Girona who will also compete in the new Champions League league phase this season.

Aberdeen’s record transfer sale stood for just two years before being broken by Miovski on Thursday. So here, Not The Old Firm have a look at the club’s top five most expensive departures of all-time.
