The attacker has been in fine form for Ayr United this term. They face a sweat over his future though as his contract is due to expire in the summer.

He’s in-demand as a number of clubs in the Championship and some in the Premiership chase him. Dundee are one Championship named with a reported interest.
A potential replacement for both
Dundee recently lost Rangers loanee Josh McPake as headed back to Ibrox. It’s left James McPake a man short as he looks to strengthen his squad this window.
The report has also claimed Partick Thistle and Livingston are also interested in his services. Ayr lost a key player to Livi this time last year too when Robbie Crawford penned a pre-contract in West Lothian.

Forrest has been a key player for Ayr since 2013. He’s scored 53 goals in 237 appearances, helping them change from a League One outfit to Premiership promotion pushers.
They’ll be desperate to keep him and losing him for nothing would be a blow.
