Andy Considine believes that Scott McKenna will learn from his red card against Rangers for kicking out at Alfredo Morelos – but insists that it was “heat of the moment stuff” from the Aberdeen defender.
McKenna was dismissed with the Colombian after clashing at Pittodrie last week and is now serving a three-match ban.

With the Dons now missing one of their best players, Considine admitted it can be “frustrating” at times.
“It was one of these things in football, heat of the moment stuff,” Considine told the Press and Journal.
“In sport, regardless of what sport, you have a millisecond to react. Whether that is a bad reaction or a good reaction, Scott is young and these things happen.

“He will know next time just to make a meal of it instead of kicking out. It is frustrating but that is football, these things happen and Scott will learn from it.”
The two sides could meet again soon in the next round of the Scottish Cup – if Rangers can get past Kilmarnock.

A quarter-final clash at Pittodrie would come just in time for McKenna to return to the side and renew his rivalry with the Colombian striker.
McKenna will miss clashes with St. Mirren and St. Johnstone as he sees out the remainder of his ban and will be able to return against Hamilton on February 27th.
