Aberdeen defender Andy Considine is determined to repay the faith of the supporters, with season ticket sales and club memberships believed to be by 10%.
There was been a surge of support since chairman Dave Cormack laid bare the reality of there being no football and therefore, no matchday income, earlier this week.
Fans have been trying to do their bit to help their club, which is facing an approximate £6 million hit as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.

In the eyes of Considine, it will be paramount for the players to make sure they repay that loyalty by performing on the pitch.
He said (Daily Record): “We know how important the fans are buying their season tickets, AberDNA and merchandise.
“I feel Dave has made a massive difference with some of the moves he had made.
“There is a real attachment between the clubs and the fans and that will grow with the initiatives and things the board are putting in place.
“It has been great to see and I know I speak for all the players and staff by saying we really appreciate it and when we eventually do get back to playing football we will do everything on the park to repay the fans for the faith they have shown in us and the club.”

Aberdeen are taking a huge hit as a result of the Covid-19 outbreak, and so interventions from loyal supporters are going to be crucial in helping the club sustain over the next few months.
Considine understands the importance of this wave of support, and it will only be right for the players to reward them by giving their absolute all on the pitch when football is able to resume.
