Raging Aberdeen fans have taken to social media to vent their frustrations after watching Kilmarnock outclass their side at Rugby Park.
It was one of the most comfortable Premiership victories of the season for any side as Killie battered Aberdeen 4-0 for a deserved Boxing Day three points.
Killie went into the interval 1-0 up through Kyle Vassell – it really should have been more – but they made their dominance count by striking three past Aberdeen’s Dimitar Mitov in the second-half.
Aberdeen lacked almost everything. Desire, passion, or any sort of interest in getting back into the game after conceding.
They failed to string any meaningful passes together and Topi Keskinen was the only man who deserves pass marks. The rest were very poor.
As Aberdeen’s official X account made their fans aware of the full-time whistle in Ayrshire, punters flocked to the post to deliver their thoughts on their team.

One fan said: “WTF is going on? I’m not going to panic still, but I’ve been saying that for a few weeks now. We’ve had a couple of breaks where things could have been worked on. But we seem to have got worse! I can handle getting beat, but not in such a lame, toothless manner.”
Another punter wrote: “Christmas time and we’ve gifted 2 absolutely shocking teams 3 points within 5 days. Fair enough.”
This Aberdeen supporter said: “Should never, and I mean never, be losing 4-0 to Killie. Embarrassing.”
And this one posted: “Shouldn’t be getting beat by this margin by anyone in this league! Killie bullied us all over the pitch as they have done numerous times and we don’t stand up to these tactics!! Clearly nowhere near good enough and a worrying drop off from December!”
The tweets continued as this Aberdeen fan wrote: “Players should be embarrassed with that performance, disgusting.”
Another said: “Downed tools some of you frauds. Hopefully won’t see you in a Dons shirt Much longer . Gutless .”
