Scotland star Kieran Tierney has provided a welcome bonus for the national team ahead of Euro 2020 as he made his shock return to the Arsenal starting XI.
Tierney played 80 minutes as he provided one of a few positives for Arsenal during their Europa League semi-final exit to Villareal. Gunners manager Mikel Arteta had previously ruled the Scotland defender out for the season.

The Scotland star has managed to prove his manager’s claim wrong to be fit in time for the end of the season, albeit Arsenal only having Premier League matches to deal with after their Europa League exit.
Steve Clarke must submit his Scotland squad for Euro 2020 on June 1st, which looked like an uphill task for Tierney on last month’s estimations. His knee injury against Liverpool at the start of April looked to have had him in a race against time for Scotland’s first major tournament since 1998, but the Arsenal full-back looks set to compete.
Euro 2020 begins for Scotland on June 14th when Czech Republic are the opponents at Hampden Park.
