It has been reported that Josh Doig is not likely to ‘end up’ at Arsenal this summer amid London interest in the Hibs left-back (FL).
The teenager enjoyed a brilliant breakthrough 2020/21 campaign at Easter Road, Hibs finishing third in the Scottish Premiership. It has attracted interest from the Premier League, Arsenal one of five top-tier English sides said to be keen.
Italian giants AC Milan are also reported to be interested in the left-back Hibs have set a price of £5 million plus a sell-on clause for. While no names have been ruled out the race for Doig, it is unlikely he will be at Arsenal come September.
Reports suggest that those close to Doig don’t think the teenager will find himself at Arsenal come the end of the transfer window, despite the Emirates club looking for a young left-back.
Leicester City, Manchester City, Chelsea and Leeds United have all been credited with an interest in Doig ahead of the new Premiership season.
