Scotland fans have praised Kieran Tierney after the defender carried his Arsenal form into the international scene.
The left-back has been immense for Arsenal this season in what has been an inconsistent season for the Gunners. He featured at left-centre-back again in Scotland’s 2-2 draw with Austria.

Tierney takes up that role in Steve Clarke’s 3-5-2 system, which is different from the flying full-back role he operates in for Mikel Arteta. But he was every bit as good in navy blue at Hampden.
He even managed to incorporate some of his attacking flair as well as defensive nous, flying up and down the park during the second half in particular.
Sasa Kalajdzic put the visitors ahead on two occasions but Grant Hanley and Aston Villa star John McGinn’s sensational overhead kick sealed a point for Clarke’s side in Scotland’s opening World Cup 2022 qualification Group F match.
Scotland fans have taken to social media to praise the Arsenal full-back, who was one of the best players on the night.
