Aston Villa have handed a new deal to Scotland star John McGinn after his major impact at the Villans.
The likes of Manchester United have been linked with McGinn in recent times but such Aston Villa exit theories have been debunked as he commits himself to a long-term deal.

It keeps him at Aston Villa until 2025 and past his 30th birthday, should he remain at Villa Park for that long. McGinn has been a sensation for Dean Smith’s men since joining from Hibs in 2018.
Scotland’s battling midfielder has quickly become one of the Villans’ key men and is the latest to sign a new deal after Jack Grealish and Tyrone Mings. Since arriving, McGinn has helped Aston Villa get to the Premier League and stay there.
McGinn says it’s a decision he was delighted to make: “It was an easy choice. I have a good relationship with everyone here and we had been talking for a while now.

“It was an important conversation, just one that been parked with the amount of games we had. But with the Newcastle game getting postponed earlier this month, it was the perfect time to get it agreed and I’m over the moon.
“I’m fully aware of what it means to play for this club, what the fans want. They want people dying for the jersey and I feel I can bring that. On the whole this season has been very positive. We are building something very special here.”
