It’s a saga that has rumbled on for months- but now Scott Banks has finally realised his Crystal Palace dream.
The youngster has officially swapped Dundee United for the Eagles. Speculation has been rife for months, with Palace supposedly having a summer approach turned down by the Arabs.
Banks then rejected a new Tannadice deal as he looked to move to the Premier League. The midfielder is a Palace man now though and speculation can be put to bed.
He’s signed a three-year deal at Selhurst Park. During his time at United, Banks made four senior appearances in Tangerine.
He also had a spell out on loan at Clyde which gave him an introduction to senior football. It’s a blow for Robbie Neilson’s side to lose one of their most talented prospects.

However, this has been on the cards for months. Banks will continue his development in London whilst the Tannadice side continue their march back to the Premiership.
It’ll be interesting to see how this highly-anticipated transfer works out for Banks.
