Liverpool loanee Ben Woodburn says Hearts supporters have been ‘brilliant’ with him since his loan move to the Scottish Premiership in August.
‘There’s a star man, playing on the right, his name is Benny Woodburn and he’s dynamite’ to the tune of David Bowie’s Starman has been heard at Tannadice, Tynecastle and Dingwall so far this season. The Liverpool loanee is enjoying the song and life in Edinburgh.

He said (EEN): “When you hear that, especially as a new player, you just feel comfortable. They’ve been brilliant since I’ve arrived. Every game I’ve played they’ve been terrific so I can’t ask much more from them. I feel like I can show my qualities in any way near the top of the pitch.
“My favourite position is probably in behind the striker or just off the sides. It allows me to connect with the front man, get the ball from defenders, turn, shots, crosses. I’ll hopefully get some more goals and assists.
“I’ve really enjoyed it so far. I think we are playing good football but I think we all know we can get better results. We need to start putting away our chances. It’s exciting, there are good players in the league, it’s good.”
