There is one Scottish Cup first round tie to be played on Tuesday night, and that is between Lowland League sides Bonnyrigg Rose and Bo’ness United. The non-league sides have a big incentive for reaching the second round of the competition.
That is after the draw was made for the second round of the competition on Monday night. The winners of the Bonnyrigg Bo’ness tie will take on Dundee. That will be a big game for the winners, to take on one of the bigger clubs in Scottish football.
Game could be shown on television
Who knows, perhaps the game will be selected for television coverage as well. For the moment though, the game is set to take place on the 9th of January.

The rest of the draw also featured some interesting ties. The runners-up in the last two Scottish Cup Finals, Hearts, will begin their attempt to reach the final for the third season in a row when they take on either Camelon or Brora Rangers.
League One leaders Falkirk will fancy the chances of causing an upset when they visit Championship side Arbroath.
All-Championship clash is intriguing
Another interesting tie is the all-Championship clash between Morton and Dunfermline. Both teams are currently in a good run of form. It will be interesting to see how the duo are faring by the time the cup tie is played.

Queen’s Park could also be confident of causing an upset when they take on Championship strugglers Queen of the South.
It is a bit odd to see the Scottish Cup in full swing when last season’s final was played less than a fortnight ago, but these are strange times in football. What hasn’t changed is the magic of the cup, and teams will be eager to reach the next round.
