St Johnstone captain Jason Kerr has been linked with another club down south, this time English Championship club Bournemouth (Scottish Sun).

Scott Parker has recently been appointed manager of Bournemouth, who missed out on a return to the Premier League last season via the Championship play-offs. The Vitality Stadium side were relegated from the Premier League in the 2019/20 season.

Kerr is off the back of a legendary season as St Johnstone captain, winning the League Cup and Scottish Cup. Callum Davidson’s side are braced for interest in key targets and Kerr has already been linked with Hibs, Oxford United, Wigan and now Bournemouth.

The centre-back is in the final year of his contract and could be available for a bargain price of £400,000. He’s not the only Saint attracting interest, Ali McCann, Shaun Rooney and Jamie McCart also subject of interest north and south of the border.
