A recent report has claimed that Hamilton will have to brace themselves for potential bids for Jamie Hamilton, with Burnley and Southampton reportedly very keen (Daily Record, page 47, 06/11/19).
The two Premier League clubs are amongst a host of big name EPL clubs reportedly after the exciting 17-year-old.

Other names that are reportedly on his heels are Everton, Norwich and Wolves, with Championship side Derby County also named as potential suitors.
Burnley and Southampton leading the Hamilton chase
It’s both the Clarets and the St Mary’s side though who are thought to be the front runners for his signature. The 17-year-old has played four Premiership matches this term.
He has started their last two and even earned the Man of the Match award against Aberdeen. Hamilton was able to handle Aberdeen striker Sam Cosgrove excellently, a man who’s scored 16 goals this term.

Interestingly, Hamilton boss Brian Rice has firm Burnley connections. He is friends with Burnley boss Sean Dyche and even had a meeting with the Turf Moor manager in September.
With plenty of clubs reportedly keen, it looks as if Accies will have a fight on their hands to keep 17-year-old Hamilton.
