Celtic and Crystal Palace are another two teams who are reportedly interested in the services of Aaron Hickey (The Sun).
The Hearts teenager has caught the eye of many since his breakthrough into the Jambos first-team. He’s now one of their key stars and the likes of Celtic and Palace have seemingly taken an interest.
Just recently there were rumours that Italian giants AC Milan were interested and Manchester City have been rumored in the past. Now the London-based Premier League side and Hickey’s former club Celtic are another two seemingly interested.
Palace prepared to go for it
Out of both Neil Lennon and Roy Hodgson’s side’s though, the latter is more likely to attempt a bid for Hickey. Hearts value him at £1.5 million according to the report and Celtic aren’t prepared to meet that tag.
Palace, however, are. They’d like to move for the player before sending him back to Tynecastle on loan. The Scottish champions would be entitled to 30% of any fee Hearts get for the full-back.
Hickey featured against Airdrie in Scottish Cup action as Hearts ran out 5-0 winners. Perhaps worryingly though, Hickey was substituted with just under 30 minutes played through injury.
Still, the big names keep cropping up with his name as clubs seemingly start to circle for his signature.
