Kilmarnock are bracing for interest in teenager Harvey Gilmour from English Premier League side Chelsea (Sun).

Billy Gilmour – Harvey’s brother – moved to London at 16 and has gone on to become a first-team member and Scotland international by 19. Chelsea may look to plot a similar career path for their midfielder’s younger brother.

Harvey has been watched by Chelsea for over a year now as he stars in the youth academy at Rugby Park. ‘Local experts’ believe Harvey could go on to ‘better’ his brother already at Stamford Bridge, although it is early days yet as his development remains at an early stage.

Chelsea won the Champions League last weekend and both the Gilmour brothers got their hands on the trophy as Billy brought his brother onto the park at full-time. The London club were first linked with a move for Harvey last year.
